Manu Ginobili’s pregame ritual is different from most [Video]
San Antonio guard Manu Ginobili was one of the Spurs’ greatest steals.
They selected him with the 57th overall pick in the 1999 draft. He went on to become a two-time All-Star and a three-time NBA champion.
Ginobili currently averages 12.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists for a team that’s at the top of the Western Conference standings.
We caught up with him before the Spurs thumped the Lakers, 112-91, on Tuesday evening.
Fun fact: While most of his teammates drown their senses in music before games, Ginobili reads news stories on his phone or chats with his wife and friends.
“I might be the only one out of 450 players in the NBA that don’t listen to music before the games,” he said with a smile.
