Lighting up made easy

The Safe-T-Lite car cigarette lighter was introduced by the manufacturer in L.A. on Oct. 1, 1950. The driver drops a cigarette into a conventional opening, either king size or regular, and pushes a button on the side. The button pops up to indicate that the cigarette is lighted and ready to be smoked. The entire process can be done without taking ones eyes off the road.
