Earthquake: Magnitude 4.7 quake strikes near The Geysers, Calif.

A shallow magnitude 4.7 earthquake was reported Wednesday morning four miles from The Geysers, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The temblor occurred at 8:41 a.m. Pacific time at a depth of 0 miles.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was 14 miles from Healdsburg., 14 miles from Clearlake, 18 miles from Windsor and 74 miles from Sacramento.

In the past 10 days, there has been one earthquake of magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
