Earthquake: 3.7 quake strikes near Soledad, Calif.
A shallow magnitude 3.7 earthquake was reported Sunday evening 14 miles from Soledad, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 7:15 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 5.0 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 18 miles from Greenfield, Calif., 22 miles from Hollister, Calif., and 25 miles from King City, Calif.
In the last 10 days, there have been two earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
