Earthquake: Magnitude 3.0 quake strikes in Lake County

A shallow magnitude 3.0 earthquake was reported in Northern California’s Lake County on Saturday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 11:09 a.m. Pacific time at a depth of zero miles.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was four miles from Cobb, Calif., 11 miles from Clearlake, 16 miles from Healdsburg, 20 miles from Windsor and 72 miles from Sacramento.

In the past 10 days, there have been three earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
