Locke High School shooting

Police tape marks the area where a 16-year-old Locke High School student was shot in front of the South L.A. campus Monday morning. Police are looking for a 17-year-old who walked up to the student and shot him in the upper body before fleeing. The suspect was described as Latino, about 5 feet 6 and 150 pounds, wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt and tan pants, said Officer Sara Faden, an LAPD spokeswoman.
