New York and Los Angeles, October 17 -- Bloomberg News® and the Los Angeles Times today announced that the two news organizations will jointly conduct national public opinion polls.
Beginning in January, Bloomberg News/Los Angeles Times Polls will survey public attitudes about government and politics, economics and finance, international affairs and social and cultural issues.
The polls will be conducted by the Los Angeles Times polling unit, headed by Susan Pinkus. They will be conceived and designed jointly by Bloomberg News and the Los Angeles Times.
"The Los Angeles Times Poll is one of the best polling operations in the nation," said Dean Baquet, editor, Los Angeles Times. "This collaboration with Bloomberg News will enable us to have a far wider reach and bigger impact."
