To the editor: We poison her air. Poison her water. Kill vast numbers of her wildlife.

We discard trash everywhere, even to the limits of her gravitational boundaries. We pump toxic chemicals into her earth. We have weapons of mass destruction at the ready to wipe out almost everything.

She has to make corrections, adjustments and continue her normal cycle of operations. You can’t blame her for being a bit moody at times. Yet she still gives us life and lets us enjoy what remains of her wonders.

To the editor: Although I do agree that Republican Sens. Susan Collins (Maine), Lisa Murkowski (Alaska) and John McCain (Arizona) should be on your “nice” list for voting against repealing the Affordable Care Act, I believe they also belong on the “naughty” list for voting to pass the GOP tax bill, which is surely going to gut funding for the healthcare law.

To the editor: One hellacious “naughty” to the Los Angeles Times for not calling out the Republican Party for passing the tax cut bill that will do more harm to the American people, excluding the one-percenters, than all the rest of the naughties put together that are listed in the article.

Now, the Republican have the unmitigated gall to turn their attention to cutting the entitlement programs that allow many Americans to survive on a day-to-day basis.

To the editor: As you included the Dodgers on your “nice” list for their World Series appearance, so too should you include them in the “naughty” column for a fourth consecutive year in which most of their local fan base remained relegated to TV black-out hell.
