Chad Boyd went four for four with three home runs, six RBIs and three runs scored, and pitched a one-hitter with five strikeouts to lead El Camino Real (13-7) over No. 23 Chaminade. Boyd went seven for 11 with five home runs, scored six runs and had nine RBIs on the week, playing in two West Valley League games and today’s tournament contest.

Larry Lopez went two for four with a solo home run in the first, Simon Ayala was three for three with one RBI and two runs scored and Ryan Hotchkiss added two hits, three RBIs and two runs scored to lead Oxnard Pacifica (4-13). David Escobar went three for four with three RBIs for the Tritons. Senior center fielder Reggie Foy went two for two with three stolen bases and has 23 stolen bases on the season for Westchester (5-10).

Armando Hernandez struck out five in six innings to get the win for visiting Bell (17-2-1, 6-0). Jairo Mena hit a solo home run in the third inning for the Eagles. L.A. Jordan is 5-7.

Cesar Martinez (2-0) pitched five innings with nine strikeouts, Andres Verdugo went two for four with a triple and Luis Badillo went two for three with a double and two RBIs for host Roosevelt (15-3, 5-1). Jose Calvillo went two for four with a double and a RBI and Luis Rodriguez went two for four with a double for the Roughriders. Huntington Park drops to 4-11-1, 1-5.

Randy Molina went three for four with five RBIs and Isaac Morales pitched four innings, allowing four hits and striking out nine, and went three for four with three RBIs to lead host South Gate (11-8, 5-1) past Garfield (0-6 in league).

Curtis Johnson and Jesse Perez each had an RBI double for visiting Fremont (8-4, 5-1). Marcus Pittman had two hits and three RBIs and Jarren Willard added two hits and two RBIs for Crenshaw (4-9, 1-4).

Santiago Medina hit a three-run home run in the third inning and Israel Perez (2-2) allowed four hits and struck out six for host Jefferson (7-4, 5-1). Manual Arts is 0-5 in league.
