Alex Lopez swept at No. 3 singles, 6-1, 6-2 to lead host Reseda (3-1, 1-0) past Granada Hills Kennedy (0-1 in league).

WEST VALLEY LEAGUE

Taft 4, Cleveland 3
No. 4 Justin Gold swept in singles, 6-2, 6-3, to lead visiting Taft (3-2, 1-1). No. 1 singles Jarred Drucker, No. 2 singles Andrew Hong and No. 3 singles Calvin Chan each swept their matches for Cleveland (3-2, 0-2).

WESTERN LEAGUE

No. 1 Ben Tom and No. 2 Ariel Oleynik each swept their singles matches to lead visiting Palisades (3-2, 2-0) over Westchester (3-2, 0-2).

Jon Pahed and Mark Naval won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles to lead host Eagle Rock (2-2, 1-0) past L.A. Wilson (1-3, 0-1).

Ben Tom won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, Stephen Surjue won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles and the doubles tandems of Daniel Burge and Osh Kim and Daniel Lee adn Nemma Ghiasi each won 6-0, 6-0 for the host Dolphins (2-2, 1-0) in the league opener for both schools. Fairfax is 2-2, 0-1.

Westchester 4, L.A. University 3
James and Jeremy Vargas won 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles for Westchester (3-1, 1-0) at Stoner Park. Nick Benavides won 6-4, 6-3 at No. 1 singles for host University (2-2, 0-1).
