DIVISION IV

Pasadena Poly 4, La Serna 3 (OT)
Katelyn Kuwata scored three goals, including two in ovetime, to lead fourth-seeded Pasadena Poly (21-2-4) over visiting La Serna. Kuwata has now scored 26 goals this season. Poly will be at home against Serrano Tuesday in the semifinals.

DIVISION V

Cerritos Valley Christian 1, Big Bear 1 (Cerritos Valley Christian wins on penalty kicks, 2-1)
Goalkeeper Megan VerSteeg blocked two penalty kicks to lift Cerritos Valley Christian (16-6-4) over Big Bear (16-8-1) at Apple Valley High School. Lauren Hernandez scored in the 18th minute for Cerritos Valley Christian, which led, 1-0, at halftime. Erika Kohler scored in the 49th minute to tie the game for Big Bear. Ashley Haagsma and Brittany Coulter each scored during the round of penalty kicks for the Crusaders, who will play Notre Dame Academy in the semifinals on Tuesday.

DIVISION I

Capistrano Valley 3, Mater Dei 2 (OT)
Junior midfielder Kasey Moore scored all three goals for Capistrano Valley (13-5-6), including the game-winner in the ninth minute of overtime. Katy Dowling, a University of Washington-bound senior forward, scored both goals for Mater Dei (16-7-2).

Esperanza 1, Aliso Niguel 0
Joanna Idom scored the winning goal off an assist from Jenna Oltmanns in the 25th minute of the first half to lead Esperanza (16-6-7). Ricki Saceudo had seven saves and recorded her third shutout of the playoffs for Esperanza, which will play Capistrano Valley in the semifinals at site to be determined. Amanda McNabb made five saves for Aliso Niguel (21-6-2).

San Clemente 4, Long Beach Wilson 1
The top-seeded and Times’ top-ranked Tritons (16-2-7) scored three times off throw-ins to defeat Wilson (20-5-2). McCall Zerboni and Chelsea Card each had a goal for San Clemente. Sophomore midfielder Natalie Moreno scored for Wilson in the 65th minute.

Santa Margarita 1, Edison 0 (sudden death)
Junior foward Amy Rodriguez scored in the seventh minute of sudden-death overtime on a pass from sophomore midfielder Kiki Bosio to lead Santa Margarita (21-4-4), which will host San Clemente (16-2-7) in the semifinals on Tuesday. Edison finishes at 21-3-3.

Arcadia 3, Canyon Country Canyon 1
Ashley Nick and Kim Stillman each had one goal and one assist and Brittany Klein also scored for visiting No. 2-ranked, No. 1-seeded Arcadia (24-1-2), which hosts Tesoro on Tuesday. Canyon is 14-4-5.

Brea Olinda 3, Westlake 3 (Brea Olinda wins on penalty kicks, 3-1)
Goalkeeper Macy Halladay blocked two penalty kicks to lift host Brea Olinda (21-4-3) over No. 3-seeded Westlake. Stephanie Mrazik scored on a penalty kick and had three assists and Jamie Ward, who had a second half-goal, also scored on a penalty kick for Brea Olinda. Westlake tied the score 3-3 with 15 minutes left in regulation.

Tesoro 1, Murietta Valley 0
Becky Steen scored off a corner kick in the eighth minute and Caitlin Holmes made six saves for her third shutout of the playoffs to lead host fourth-seeded Tesoro (19-5-3). Murietta Valley finished 15-3-9.

Buena 3, Valencia 1

DIVISION III

Arroyo Grande 2, Mayfair 1
Ruby Trejo scored off a 40-yard direct kick to give Arroyo Grande a lead 1-0 at halftime and Carla Arbulu scored off an assist by Trejo in the second half to clinch the win over No. 3-seeded Mayfair.

Bonita 2, Corona Santiago 1
Cambria Pence and Tara Corcoran each scored for visiting Bonita (19-3-5), which will host Walnut Tuesday. No. 4-seeded Corona Santiago is 22-8-2.

Sunny Hills 3, Norco 2
Jeanette Chavez scored the game-winner on a penalty kick with four minutes remaining to lead host second-seeded Sunny Hills (29-2), which trailed, 2-1, at halftime. Amanda Koman scored in the first minute and Dena Olyaie scored in the 15th minute for unseeded Norco (17-6-5), Amy Colby and Jessica Sharpe each scored for Sunny Hills, with Sharpe’s goal coming in the 42nd minute to tie the game, 2-2. Chavez assisted on both goals. Sharpe has 29 goals and Chavez has 19 goals and 17 assists this season for the Lancers, who play Arroyo Grande Tuesday in the semifinals.

Walnut 3, San Luis Obispo 0
Junior forward Christina Carriaga scored in the first half, and sophomore sweeper Katie Rorabaugh and freshman forward Karri Currier each scored in the second half for top-seeded Walnut (26-1-1), which is ranked No. 7 by the Times. Walnut faces Bonita in the sectional semifianls on Tuesday.

DIVISION IV

Santa Ynez 1, Apple Valley 0 (sudden death)
Jennifer Love scored in the fifth minute of the first sudden death overtime with an assist from Marissa McCandlish for host Santa Ynez (20-4-1) which plays Hemet Tuesday with site to be determined. Apple Valley is 11-7-6.

Serrano 1, Palm Desert 0 (OT)
Audrey Borbon scored in the 86th minute and Dougie McCaulley made 13 saves for her second straight playoff shutout to lead visiting Serrano (18-7-2). Palm Desert is 21-5.

Hemet 2, La Canada 1
La Serna at Pasadena Poly, rescheduled to Saturday at 1 p.m.

DIVISION V

Marymount 1, Victor Valley 0
Freshman forward Cristen Drummond scored her second goal in as many playoff games for Marymount (18-3-1), which advances to the semifinals to host either Oak Park or Oaks Christian. Drummond scored in the 48th minute for her 12th goal on the season and is one of four starting freshman for Marymount. Junior goalkeeper Taylor Carr had her 16th shutout of the season.

Notre Dame Academy 1, La Salle 0
Kendall Doherty scored off a Miranda Moriarity corner kick in the ninth minute to lead Notre Dame Academy (14-6-1). Goalkeeper Emily Ottiniano had 17 saves for the Regals, who will play either Big Bear or Valley Christian Tuesday in the semifinals. Notre Dame, which finished third in the Sunshine League, defeated La Salle, the Sunshine League champion, for the first time in three tries this season and the first time in more than four seasons. La Salle finished 16-3-2.

Oaks Christian 1, Oak Park 0
Oaks Christian scored with six minutes remaining in a game that featured both of last season’s Division V co-champions. Oak Park finishes at 16-8-4.

DIVISION VI

Winward 1, Laguna Blanca 0 (2 OT)
Junior forward Simone Vernez scored on a Julia Cummings cross in the seventh minute of the second overtime for Winward (17-3-3), which will play either Desert Christian or Alverno in the semifinals.

Samantha Koza scored two goals and Tina Skrutilia added one goal for host La Serna (21-5-2). Temple City is 18-4-2.

Pasadena Poly 1, Lompoc 0
Senior Katelyn Kuwata of visiting Pasadena Poly (20-2-4) scored in the 10th minute on a breakaway for her 23rd goal of the season. Poly goalie Anne Fauvre made one save midway through the second half to preserve the victory.

Aliso Niguel 2, Upland 1 (sudden death)
Allison Scurich scored both goals, including the game-winner on a breakaway with two minutes left in the first half of sudden death, to lift third-seeded Aliso Niguel (21-5-2). Lindsay O’Brien scored to tie the game in the final minute of regulation for host Upland (18-3-3).

Capistrano Valley 2, Harvard-Westlake 1
Capistrano Valley (12-5-6) faces Mater Dei in the quarterfinals. Harvard-Westlake is 14-6-2.

Edison 2, Los Osos 1 (sudden death)
Senior halfback Amanda Draeger scored 16 minutes into sudden death to lead fourth-seeded Edison (21-2-3) to a sudden-death victory. Senior Meagin DuPont had the goal in regulation for Edison, The Times’ No. 4 team. Los Osos finishes the season at 18-7-3.

Esperanza 1, Redondo 0 (OT)
Joanna Idom scored the game’s only goal in overtime for Esperanza (14-6-7).

Long Beach Wilson 3, North Torrance 1
Kelly Little, Kristina Walowski and Katie Poehler each scored a goal for host Wilson (20-4-2). Corrie Hirokawa scored on a penalty kick in the 28th minute to tie the game at 1-1 for North Torrance (24-4).

Mater Dei 4, St. Lucy’s 3 (OT)
Senior fullback Kyle Felts had the game-winning goal five minutes into the second half of overtime for Mater Dei (16-6-2). Senior forward Mary Miller, Kelly Wherry and Andrea Pagnanelli each added a goal in regulation for Mater Dei.

San Clemente 2, Claremont 0
Top-seeded and The Times’ top-ranked San Clemente improves to 15-2-7.

Santa Margarita 2, Ayala 1 (sudden death)
Junior midfielder Alexis Mielke scored five minutes into the second half of sudden death to lead Santa Margarita (20-4-4) to victory. Junior forward Amy Rodriguez scored for Santa Margarita six minutes into the first half, but Ayala (18-5) tied the game on a goal by Alyssa Doniak in the last minute of regulation to send the game into overtime.

DIVISION II

Arcadia 4, Ventura 0
Brittany Klein had two goals and one assist to lead visiting No. 2-ranked, No. 1-seeded Arcadia (23-1-2).

Brea Olinda 1, Valley View 0
Sophomore forward Amanda Kronquist scored the game’s only goal in the 23rd minute to lead visiting Brea Olinda (20-4-3), which notched its 14th shutout of the season.

Tesoro 1, Redlands East Valley 0 (OT)
Courtney Lewis scored the game’s only goal in the 97th minute for Tesoro (18-5-3), which has yet to yield a goal in the postseason and has allowed three in the last 14 games. Redlands East Valley finishes 19-5-1.

Valencia 1, Quartz Hill 0 (OT)
Quartz Hill is 15-5-2.

Brittany Massro made four saves, including the win-preserving deflection during the round of penalty kicks, to seal the win for host Bonita (18-3-5). La Palma Kennedy is 14-7-2.

Corona Santiago improves to 22-4-2.

Mayfair 3, Santa Monica 0
Ashley Dahlemburg scored twice and Meghan Milot added a goal for visiting No. 3-seeded Mayfair (21-1-3), which plays Arroyo Grande on Friday. Santa Monica is 11-13-1.

San Luis Obispo 4, South Torrance 0
Katie Houle scored two goals, twin sister Kari Houle scored once and Lauren Krumholz converted a penalty kick for the other goal to lead host San Luis Obispo (20-3-3), which advanced to the quarterfinals for the first time in school history.

Sunny Hills 2, South Hills 0
Lucy Bussman scored in the 11th minute and Jeanette Chavez scored her 18th goal of the season in the 68th minute to lead No. 8-ranked, No. 2-seeded Sunny Hills (28-2), which allowed visiting South Hills (12-11-4) only two shots.

Walnut 4, La Mirada 1
Janessa Currier scored two goals and sister Karri Currier and Christina Carriaga each added a goal for top-seeded Walnut (25-1-1), which won its 13th consecutive game since a 2-2 tie with Bonita. Lauren Cram scored the first goal in the 15th minute for host La Mirada (10-8-3). Walnut was CIF Division III co-champion with Costa Mesa last season.

Jessica Cox and Brittnie Bernardino each scored a goal in overtime to lead host Apple Valley (11-7-7). Coco Klienert scored the only goal for Flintridge Prep (15-3-5).

Santa Ynez 3, Chadwick 2
Freshmen Christen Press scored her team-leading 28th goal of the season and Nicole Fisk also had a goal for host Chadwick (11-5-6).

Serrano 1, King 0
Sade Tate scored off of an assist from Kelly Johnston in the 65th minute and Dougie McCaulley made 12 saves for host Serrano (17-7-2). Raegan Finnie tallied eight saves for top-seeded King (24-3), ranked No. 9 by The Times.

Big Bear 1, Whittier Christian 1 (Big Bear wins on penalty kicks, 6-5)
Breanna O’Gara made 10 saves and Jessica Norman scored in the 49th minute to lead visiting Big Bear (16-7-1). Trina McGee scored a goal in the 57th minute and Amy Schlunegger tallied 10 saves for Whittier Christian (15-6-2).

Cerritos Valley Christian 1, Garden Grove Pacifica 1 (Valley Christian wins on penalty kicks, 5-4)
Junior midfielder Kadi Brandel scored the winning goal in the penalty-kick shootout to lift Cerritos Valley Christian (15-6-4), which upset top-seeded Garden Grove Pacifica (23-4-1). Senior goalkeeper Katie Zondervan made the key save in goal. Freshman forward Ashley Haagsma scored in the 60th minute for Valley Christian, which last season was upset as the top-seeded team in the sectional quarterfinals. Haagsma has 13 goals on the season. Pacifica’s goal was scored by Jennifer Cabibbo in the 23rd minute.

La Salle 5, Arroyo 0
Jamie Bell had two goals and one assist for host No. 4-seeded La Salle (16-2-2). Kim Guzman made 20 saves for Arroyo (14-2-5), which was outshot, 37-1.

Marymount 3, L.A. Baptist 0
Freshman forward Daryn Towle scored twice and freshman forward Cristen Drummond added a third goal for L.A. Marymount (18-3-1). Towle has 18 goals on the season.

Notre Dame Academy 2, Nordhoff 1
Kendall Doherty scored both goals, Katie King had both assists Emily Ottiniano made 14 saves for host Notre Dame Academy (13-6-1), which played at Brentwood High School because of a rain soaked field. Notre Dame Academy will host league La Salle on Friday.

Oak Park 1, Village Christian 0
Junior forward Sam Stoll scored the winning goal in the 25th minute to lead Oak Park (16-7-4). Stoll has 28 goals and 24 assists on the season and has four goals in two playoff games. Sophomore goalkeeper Nikki Wallen has 14th shutouts on the season.

Victor Valley 2, Vista del Lago 0
Jackie Osuna and Sarah Borek each scored for third-seeded Victor Valley (22-2-3), which won its 11th straight game. Laci Grenewalt made eight saves for her 17th shutout. Host Vista Del Lago finishes 14-5-3.

Sue Capra, Britteney McCormick and Natasha Brown each scored one goal for Alverno (15-2-1), which advances to the quarterfinals. Katherine Jarvis had two assists. Western Christian finishes at 23-4-1.

Candace Heiser and Callie Rigsby each scored a goal to lead host Linfield Christian (17-8-1). Nicole Sady-Kennedy scored the lone goal for St. Margaret’s (22-3-2).

Ontario Christian 2, Fairmont Prep 0
Trisha Airth scored both goals for host Ontario Christian (12-9-3).

Windward 2, Gardena Serra 1
No. 2-seeded Windward (16-3-3) will face Laguna Blanca on Friday.
