ACTRESS Joely Fisher, who plays actor Brad Garrett’s wife, Joy, on the sitcom “ ‘Til Death,” and her husband, cinematographer Chris Duddy, bought this family compound about two years ago for two reasons: They love to throw parties, and they like their privacy.

With such features as a home theater, a saline swimming pool and a cabana imported from India, their residence was designed for entertaining. Plus, there is parking for 12 to 14 cars, including a two-car garage. A sports court sits beyond the garage.

The home is on a private road at the end of a cul-de-sac. The walled and gated estate sits on nearly three-quarters of an acre.

About this house: The midcentury, one-story home was completely refurbished by the Vance Design Group just before it was purchased by Fisher and Duddy for nearly $3.5 million. Since then, Fisher, daughter of Eddie Fisher and Connie Stevens, gave birth to her second child in this home. Now the family wants larger quarters.

Asking price: $4,295,000

Size: There are four bedrooms and seven bathrooms in slightly more than 4,500 square feet, including two separate guest quarters, one of which houses the theater. The lot size is about 31,000 square feet.

Features: There is a bridge over water leading to the front door, a fire pit, treetop and mountain views, walls of glass, a living room with stone floors and a wood-beamed ceiling, a media room, stainless-steel kitchen appliances, a pantry, a breakfast area, a steam shower and a spa tub.

Where: Encino Hills

Listing agent: Jory Burton, Sotheby’s International Realty, Beverly Hills, (310) 860-4515; www.zen-craftsman.com.
