In the world of professional daredevils, it’s hard to top motorcyclist Lance Murdock, who once leaped over a pool filled with “man-eating great white sharks, deadly electric eels, ravenous piranhas, bone-crushing alligators” AND a lion. But even this “Simpsons” character inspired by Evel Knievel would probably be impressed with motocross rider Ronnie Renner’s latest stunt. Using a 25-foot tall, 64-foot wide, custom-built quarterpipe, Renner will defy nature, gravity and common sense in his attempt at a Guinness World Record for highest air reached on a motorcycle. Guinness reps will be on hand to validate each jump as will a team of medics. Because as they say on “ The Simpsons,” “If he’s not in action, he’s in traction!”
