Poll: What are the 10 greatest moments in Dodger Stadium history?

On Monday, Times Dodgers reporter Dylan Hernandez will unveil his choices as the 10 greatest moments in Dodger Stadium history in honor of its 50th anniversary.

From now until Monday, we ask you to vote for your top 10 choices from our poll below. A quick look at each one:

April 10, 1962 -- Opening Day. Walter O’Malley’s wife, Kay, threw out the first pitch, Johnny Podres started for the Dodgers and Duke Snider got the Dodgers’ first hit, but the Dodgers lost to the Cincinnati Reds, 6-3.

Oct. 6, 1963 -- Game 4 of the 1963 World Series. The Dodgers completed a four-game sweep of the New York Yankees as Sandy Koufax pitched a complete game. It is still the only World Series title to be won at Dodger Stadium. All the Dodgers’ other World Series titles in L.A. were won on the road.

Sept. 9, 1965 -- Sandy Koufax perfect game. The legendary left-hander tosses the only perfect game in Dodgers history, with an iconic call by Vin Scully.

Aug. 28, 1966 -- Beatles concert. The first concert in Dodger Stadium featured perhaps the greatest band in history.

April 25, 1976 -- Rick Monday saves the American flag. Playing for the Cubs at the time, Monday watches as two fans run onto the field and try to burn something several yards in front of him. Realizing it was an American flag, Monday rushes over and snatches the flag away.

Oct. 2, 1977 -- Dusty Baker hits his 30th home run in his last at-bat on the last day of the season to give the Dodgers four players (Ron Cey, Steve Garvey and Reggie Smith) with at least 30 homers in one season, a record.

Oct 7, 1978 -- Bill Russell’s walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th gives the Dodgers a 3-1 series win over Philadelphia and earns them a trip to the World Series.

Oct. 11, 1978 -- Rookie Bob Welch is brought in to save Game 2 of the World Series against the Yankees. With two men on and two out, Welch faces Reggie Jackson and strikes him out after an epic duel, with Jackson fouling off several fastballs.

July 8, 1980 -- Dodger Stadium hosts its first, and still only, All-Star game, and the Dodgers use the game to unveil their state-of-the art DiamondVision screen in left field.

Oct. 3-5, 1980 -- The Dodgers win the last three games against the Houston Astros to force a one-game playoff.

April 9, 1981 -- Start of Fernandomania. In his first start, Fernando Valenzuela pitches a shutout.

July 31-Aug. 7, 1984 -- The Olympics. Dodger Stadium plays host to the Olympics baseball competition.

Sept. 16, 1987 --The Pope comes to town. Sixty-three thousand people visit the stadium to listen to a sermon by Pope John Paul II.

Oct. 12, 1988-- In the only Game 7 in Dodger Stadium history, Orel Hershiser shuts down the New York Mets and sends the Dodgers to the World Series.

Oct. 15, 1988 -- Kirk Gibson’s home run. An injured Gibson hits a two-out, two-run home run in the ninth inning of Game 1 of the World Series to give the Dodgers an improbable 5-4 victory.

June 4, 1990 -- Ramon Martinez strikes out 18 Atlanta Braves.

June 29, 1990 -- Fernando’s no-hitter. In his last season with the team, Fernando Valenzuela no-hits the St. Louis Cardinals.

Oct. 3, 1993 -- Mike Piazza homers twice and the Dodgers defeat the archrival San Francisco Giants, 12-1, to eliminate the Giants from playoff contention on the last day of the season.

July 7, 1994 -- The Three Tenors, Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras and Luciano Pavarotti, sing at Dodger Stadium.

Oct. 2, 2004 -- Steve Finley hits a division-clinching walk-off grand slam against the San Francisco Giants.

Oct. 9, 2004 -- Jose Lima pitches a five-hit shutout against the St. Louis Cardinals for the Dodgers’ first playoff victory since 1988.

Sept. 18, 2006 -- Trailing the Padres, 9-5, in the bottom of the ninth, the Dodgers hit four consecutive homers (Jeff Kent, J.D. Drew, Russell Martin and Marlon Anderson) to tie the game and win it in the 10th on Nomar Garciaparra’s two-run homer.
