Update: Goalie Peter Budaj has won all four of his starts for the Kings, three this season and one last season against the New York Rangers. Martin Jones, now with the San Jose Sharks, set the standard when he won his first eight starts with the Kings as a rookie in the 2013-14 season, also filling in when No. 1 goalie Jonathan Quick was sidelined because of a groin injury.

Kings defenseman Alec Martinez has scored overtime goals in two of the last three games, at Dallas last week and against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday night. Kings left wing Tanner Pearson has had a point in all four games, scoring a goal in three, since sitting out the first two games of the regular season because of a suspension for an illegal hit to the head. The Predators opened a five-game trip Wednesday at Anaheim.
