While the Clippers battled the Oklahoma City Thunder at Staples Center on Sunday afternoon, a number of vacationing Lakers took time to post Mother’s Day messages on Twitter.

“I’m very fortunate to have the mother I have. To all the mothers in the world, have a very happy #MothersDay!! #WonderfulMom” tweeted Pau Gasol (@paugasol).

Gasol will become a free agent in July.

“Happy Mother’s Day!!! Blessed to have such a great mother in my life!” wrote Jodie Meeks (@Jmeeks20), who just graduated Saturday from the University of Kentucky, five years after leaving the school for the NBA.
