Johnny Manziel actually had some excellent advice for President Trump on Monday, tweeting that our newly inaugurated leader should spend less time on social media and more time on his new job.

And then, hours later, Manziel’s Twitter account mysteriously disappeared.

“Twitter has been nothing but a distraction for me. I’ve said all I can say,” he told TMZ on Tuesday. “Now I need to shut the hell up and work on bettering myself and my situation.”

The former Heisman Trophy winner and failed NFL quarterback has quite a history on social media, with photos of his partying antics often getting him in trouble during his playing days. So it was coming from experience when he tweeted to Trump on Monday:

“Yo @POTUS even I know to stay away from the notifications section on twitter. ... will drive you crazy, lead the country and let them hate”

And there was more:

-- “”#HeReallyGotTheFastestTwitterFingersInTheLand”

-- “Control what you can control and let the rest fall by the wayside”

-- “Responds to everything thats said about him when there is REAL … going on in the world. … even dumber than selling Super Bowl Selfies.”

The ellipses in the above quotes are in place of profanities. That’s right — Johnny Football curses when he addresses the president of the U.S.

Actually, that should say he cursed when he addressed the president. Past tense is more appropriate because Manziel’s Twitter account was deleted just hours after he sent out those tweets.

Thankfully, his Instagram account is still up and running. At least for now.
