NBA roundup: Paul George helps Thunder beat Timberwolves to snap three-game losing streak

Paul George had 35 points and nine assists to help the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 111-107 on Friday night and snap a three-game losing streak.

Steven Adams had a career-high 27 points on 11-for-11 shooting and Russell Westbrook added 15 points, 14 assists and nine rebounds for the host Thunder.

The Thunder shot 51.9% from the field and outrebounded the Timberwolves 42-26. It was the Thunder’s first win of the season by fewer than nine points.

Golden State 133, at Orlando 112: Klay Thompson scored 27 points and Kevin Durant added 25 for the Warriors, but it was the 46 assists on 55 field goals that had the team talking. It was the most assists by any team this season.

San Antonio 95, at Memphis 79: LaMarcus Aldridge had 22 points and Rudy Gay added 18 off the bench for the Spurs, who extended the Grizzlies’ losing streak to 10.

at Washington 109, Detroit 91: The Wizards’ Markieff Morris shook off recent struggles to score 23 points and Tomas Satoransky added a career high 17 points.

at Miami 105, Charlotte 100: Josh Richardson scored a career high 27 points as the Heat shook off a horrendous opening few minutes to beat the Hornets.

at Utah 114, New Orleans 108: Rookie Donovan Mitchell scored a career high 41 points as the Jazz rallied for a victory.

at Toronto 120, Indiana 115: The Raptors’ DeMar DeRozan scored 26 points and Jakob Poeltl made all eight of his field goal attempts for a career high 18 points.

Sacramento 107, at Chicago 106: Zach Randolph had 25 points for the Kings, who extended the Bulls’ losing streak to eight games.
