NFC notes: Receiver Jordy Nelson has been hot for the Packers

Arizona Cardinals: The Cardinals lost both starting guards (Mike Iupati, Evan Mathis) to ankle injuries last week. Arizona’s 18 sacks are the third-most in the NFL.

Atlanta Falcons: Tevin Coleman leads all running backs with 313 yards receiving. The Falcons have not allowed a back to run for more than 100 yards in 10 consecutive games.

Carolina Panthers: Greg Olsen had nine receptions for a career-high 181 yards last week against the Buccaneers and leads all tight ends in catches(27)and yards receiving (335).

Chicago Bears: Linebacker Willie Young had a career-high three sacks last week. Connor Barth is five for eight on field goals and is tied for 29th in accuracy (62%).

Dallas Cowboys: Dak Prescott has attempted 155 passes without an interception, a rookie record, and second only behind the Patriots’ Tom Brady (162) to open a career.

Detroit Lions: Receiver Anquan Boldin has had a touchdown catch in his last three games against the Rams, and more against them (10) than any other team.

Green Bay Packers: Jordy Nelson has five receiving touchdowns in his first four games after missing all of last season because of a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

Minnesota Vikings: The Vikings signed former Ram Jake Long to bolster an offensive line that last lost starting right tackle Andre Smith to triceps surgery.

New Orleans Saints: No Saints player has rushed for more than 100 yards this season. Mark Ingram owns Saints’ single-game high with 77 yards in Week 3 vs. the Falcons.

N.Y. Giants: Eli Manning needs one touchdown pass to become eighth in NFL history with 300. Odell Beckham Jr. had his first touchdown catch of the season last week.

Philadelphia Eagles: Rookie Halapoulivaati Vaitai will start at right tackle in place of Lane Johnson, who was suspended 10 games for testing positive for PEDs.

RAMS: Todd Gurley averaged a career-high 8.8 yards per carry, running 16 times for 140 yards with two touchdowns, in a win over the Lions last season.

San Francisco 49ers: Carlos Hyde is tied for the most rushing touchdowns (six) and has scored in three consecutive games for the first time in his career.

Seattle Seahawks: Safety Earl Thomas is set to make his 101st consecutive start, breaking a tie with Cortez Kennedy for most in franchise history by a defensive player.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: In the Buccaneers’ two wins, Jameis Winston has thrown the ball a combined 65 times. In their three losses, he’s gone to the air 145 times.

Washington Redskins: The Redskins have won their last three meetings with the Eagles. DeSean Jackson averaged 94.3 yards in three games against his former team.
