A day after he was hospitalized for an unspecified condition, Rams defensive end Robert Quinn attended practice Tuesday.

Quinn, a two-time Pro Bowl player, did not participate but observed in street clothes and interacted with teammates and coaches.

Quinn did not address reporters.

“He’s doing well, we got good results back,” Coach Jeff Fisher said. “It’ll be a day-to-day thing with Rob, as far as getting back on the field.”

Quinn, 26, was admitted to a hospital after paramedics responded to a call from his Agoura home on Monday morning. A woman who identified herself as a family member called 911 because Quinn was suffering what she believed to be an apparent seizure, according to a recording of the call first obtained by TMZ.com.

Quinn played in the Rams’ 9-6 victory over the New York Jets in East Rutherford, N.J. Fisher said Monday that Quinn appeared to be fine on the bus ride from the airport to the team facility in Thousand Oaks after the Rams arrived in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

In high school, Quinn was diagnosed with a dime-sized brain tumor that remains at the top of his spinal cavity. He said in September that he is tested for the condition about twice a year and has not experienced any issues.

Fisher said Monday that it was “highly unlikely” that Quinn’s situation was related to the tumor.

Quinn, who had off-season back surgery, sat out two games this season because of a shoulder injury. He has two sacks and has forced two fumbles.

Teammates were happy to see Quinn on Tuesday.

“He was all smiles,” defensive tackle Michael Brockers said. “He was really up to speed for a guy who was just hospitalized. He comes into work and is chipper and happy.”

Brockers said he did not notice anything Sunday that indicated Quinn might experience a problem. He was concerned when he heard Quinn might have had a seizure.

“I know Rob’s history, about the tumor and stuff, I was really scared that something came back,” Brockers said. “Was praying for him, at the same time, didn’t know enough to understand the situation.

“Was good to see him, he said everything was OK and he feels fine.”

Fisher said Monday that he had not ruled Quinn or defensive lineman Eugene Sims out for Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins at the Coliseum.

Sims came out of the game against the Jets and remains in concussion protocol.
