The Clippers and free-agent center Ryan Hollins agreed to a one-year deal on Thursday.

Hollins is expected to sign a one-year contract for the veteran minimum of $1.065 million.

“Ryan is happy to be a Clipper,” Hollins’ agent, Todd Ramasar, said. “He’s happy to be back in L.A. and he’s looking forward to helping the Clippers.”

Hollins, a seven-foot center who attended UCLA, played for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics last season.

He averaged 3.4 points and 2.1 rebounds in 13.4 minutes.

Hollins is expected to be the fourth big man for the Clippers, playing behind starters Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan and reserve Lamar Odom.
