We’re a little over two months before the premiere of HBO’s “Hard Knocks” featuring the Los Angeles Rams. Rams fans should be excited for this year’s edition of the five-episode miniseries.

It will be the first time that an overall No. 1 NFL draft pick and a team’s relocation will be documented. Sorry, St. Louis residents.

To add more to the excitement, HBO has released a new trailer, which includes footage from the Rams practice and interviews from producers, Coach Jeff Fisher and players such as running back Todd Gurley and punter John Hekker.

“It’s the first time that you have documented a move, historically I think this will be very special,” said Coach Jeff Fisher. “We want this show to be the best one to date.”

“And that will include the first time in ‘Hard Knocks’ history that a No. 1 overall draft pick will be part of the show,” added Ken Rodgers, supervising producer of NFL films.

“Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Los Angeles Rams” premieres Aug. 9 on HBO.
