Troy Warner, a defensive back from Mission Hills High, committed to BYU in September but had recently considered switching his commitment to USC.

On Thursday, Warner announced on social media that he would stick with BYU.

“See ya’ll in Provo. #Commitment #Reaffirmed,” Warner wrote on Twitter.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Warner is considered an elite recruit in the 2016 class.

He made an official visit to USC earlier this month.

C.J. Pollard from Gardena Serra is the lone defensive back committed to USC’s 2016 class. Pollard has signed a financial aid agreement and will enroll in January.
