Share

Jajuan Johnson, a 5-foot-10 senior guard at Fremont, set a school scoring record on Wednesday by pouring in 57 points in a 102-41 victory over Manual Arts.

The old scoring record was held by Fremont assistant Danny Williams. Johnson made 13 threes.

Fremont is 3-0 in the Coliseum League.

“I’m just so happy to have been Danny Williams’ coach when he broke the school record in 2004 and now to see Jajuan get 57 with Danny by my side as my assistant makes it even sweeter,” Coach George McLin said.
