Football: Mission Viejo is 2-0 after win in Bakersfield
First there was domination in Hawaii on Aug. 21. And on Saturday night, Mission Viejo took another road trip, this time to Bakersfield, and the result was a 27-14 victory over Liberty.
The Diablos improved to 2-0. Last week, they defeated Baldwin, 63-7. Saturday’s victory might be considered more important, because Liberty is usually pretty good.
Quarterback Brock Johnson had touchdown passes of 53 yards to Jason Lee and 23 yards to Austin Osborne. Isaiah Miller scored twice on runs.
