Palazzo and Venetian now charge $45 daily resort fees, the highest in Las Vegas
Two Las Vegas resorts, the Palazzo and the Venetian, have raised daily resort fees to $45, making them the highest in the city.
The Venetian and the Palazzo reservation websites show the new resort fees that jumped from $39. The increase took effect March 6.
Resort fees include amenities such as access to a gym, printing out boarding passes, use of the Internet, local and toll-free phone calls, and access to newspapers and magazines provided by the PressReader app.
Until the latest increase, the two properties were in line with many other high-end resorts. The daily fee remains $39 at Aria, Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Mandarin Oriental and Wynn.
An email statement from the Palazzo and the Venetian said: “We are always evaluating our services and the associated fees with the goal of delivering the best guest experience.”
In February, Caesars Entertainment, which owns the Flamingo, Harrah’s, the Linq, Caesars Palace and other resorts, increased daily fees at most properties as much as $5. MGM Resorts also had raised their fees.
Also, the Palazzo and the Venetian don’t charge guests or visitors to park. Overnight parking fees at other Vegas resorts can add as much as $30 a day to the cost of a room.
