Daughtry brings its hard-rocking style to Las Vegas in October
“American Idol” finalist Chris Daughtry brings his Grammy-nominated rock group Daughtry to the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center on Oct. 17.
Despite coming in fourth on the fifth season of “American Idol,” Daughtry the man scored a record deal to form Daughtry the band in 2006.
The band’s self-titled debut album went on to be the best-selling album of 2007 on Billboard and the fastest-selling debut rock album in SoundScan history. Top-five songs include “It’s Not Over” and “Home” with a hard-rocking style.
The group went on to earn four Grammy nominations in 2008.
Platinum albums “Leave This Town” and “Break the Spell” followed with singles “No Surprise” and “Life After You.”
The group’s latest album “Baptized” came out in 2013 with the single “Waiting for Superman.”
