Reader recommendation: The Pier B&B in Portsmouth, England
The Pier, a tidy and comfortable B&B in Portsmouth, was easy to find on a main but quiet street near restaurants and on a bus route. Access to local attractions, such as the Mary Rose Tudor warship, is easy. The prices are reasonable, and we had comfortable en suite rooms and full English breakfast with the proprietor’s homemade yogurt.
