Zoo babies and combo ticket for L.A. Zoo and Aquarium of the Pacific

Share

Spring brings new baby penguins, hippos, giraffes and other animals -- and a new combination ticket -- to the Los Angeles Zoo in Griffith Park and the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. Now one ticket gets you into both and saves on admission prices.

The deal: The zoo-aquarium combination ticket costs $39 for adults (12 years old and older), $26 for children and $38 for seniors at least 62 years old.

The good part is you don’t have to use the tickets on the same day. You can buy them at the zoo or the aquarium.

Here are some March events you may not want to miss:

Aquarium of the Pacific: Divers Day on Saturday (scuba divers with proof of certification and photo ID get in free) looks at advancements in deep-sea diving and International Children’s Day Festival on March 14 and 15 showcases dance, music and theater shows from cultures around the world.

Los Angeles Zoo: Kids and adults on March 28 and 29 can watch artist Kristen Cumings create a huge artwork of the zoo’s Grevy’s zebras using jelly beans. The piece will become part of the Jelly Belly Endangered Species Bean Art.

When: The combination tickets are available indefinitely.

Tested: The real savings here are on adult tickets. You save $8.95 on adult admission and $2.95 on children admissions by buying the combination ticket.
