Kcho at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles

Cuban nationals have long had a presence in U.S. museums. The artist known as Kcho had a show at the Museum of Contemporary Art in L.A. in 1997. On that occasion, his art was admitted into the country, but he wasn't. The U.S. government denied him the visa.
