Bryan Cranston, drama lead actor, 'Breaking Bad'
Claim to fame: Before he won an Emmy for his role as the high school teacher turned meth dealer in "Breaking Bad," Cranston was Emmy-nominated several times for his role as the lovably befuddled dad on the family comedy "Malcolm in the Middle."

He played an astronaut twice in two different Tom Hanks projects: Buzz Aldrin in Hanks' HBO miniseries "From the Earth to the Moon" and Gus Grissom in Hanks' feature film "That Thing You Do." He also made several appearances on "Seinfeld" as Jerry's dentist.
Other credits: Cranston has provided the voices for several American redubs of Japanese animated films, including "Macross Plus" and "Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama."
