'The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor'

The people speak: $401 million worldwide The critics speak: Peter Travers in "Rolling Stone" wrote: "The new 'Mummy' is how can I put this? Just freakin' awful." Rotten Tomatoes ranking: 14%. Lesson learned: Audiences like variety, not in plot or character, but in the kinds of CGI characters they look at on-screen. Rather than give us yet another Egyptian mummy -- BO-RING! -- we got hordes of terracotta warriors and a Chinese mummy. Bay gave us new and different Transformers in the sequel and look how the crowds turned out.
