UNDERRATED: "The Layover" on the Travel Channel

Anthony Bourdain has built a tidy little empire balancing off-the-beaten-path travelogues with generous helpings of food porn, and his latest effort finds the sometimes snarky chef firmly in his comfort zone. Though parts of his 24 to 48 hours in a city conceit can carry some budget-busting unreality (especially on the lodging front), Bourdain's quick-cut tips on must-see destinations and dining still show terrific taste.
