Seeing Pegg on board for Tom Cruise's latest "Mission Impossible" entry promised plenty of smart one-liners as the crew's gadget man, but one of the film's happiest surprises was how much room the "Star Trek" alum was given to pull off some secret agent shtick of his own. As if the spoof "Hot Fuzz" weren't enough proof, think of what more Pegg could do to freshen up the otherwise stale action genre with a franchise of his own.
