The Elements return to Fiesta Del Sol May 19

Teenage indie rock band The Elements will once again be the first band to take the stage at the Fiesta Del Sol Unplugged Stage on Saturday, May 19 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. They will debut another original song, “Winterland.” The Elements will entertain the crowd with originals as well as cover songs from bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fitz and the Tantrums, Cage the Elephant, and Talking Heads.

This year marks the 39th annual Fiesta Del Sol and the third annual Unplugged Stage. The Unplugged Stage is located in the Fine Art Area of Fiesta Del Sol. It is sponsored by Chad of All Trades, COAT, a home improvement general contracting company serving homeowners of San Diego County.

The Elements are juniors at San Dieguito High School Academy in Encinitas. They have performed at SDA, most recently for Spirit Week in March. Past local performances include the Leudadia 101 Battle of the Bands, Encinitas Spring Street Fair and Leucadia 101 Small Business Saturday.

The Elements upcoming performances include the La Costa Valley Memorial Day BBQ, San Diego Fair, and The Aquatics Games, an Olympic-style youth water polo tournament and swim meet event created by five-time Olympian Tony Azevedo.
