Ravi Shankar: The obituary of Indian sitar master Ravi Shankar in the Dec. 12 LATExtra section said that his son Shubhendra died in 1989. Shubhendra Shankar died in 1992.

“Zero Dark Thirty”: An article in the Dec. 13 Envelope section about screenwriter Mark Boal said that his film “Zero Dark Thirty” opens on Friday. The film, about the hunt for Osama bin Laden, opens Dec. 19.
