Ebola preparations: In the Oct. 13 LATExtra section, an article

about what medical workers are doing to prepare should an Ebola case emerge in Southern California said that a nurse in Spain had contracted the disease from a patient and died. As of Monday, the nurse was alive and in serious but stable condition.

Ojai shopping: An article in the Oct. 11 Saturday section incorrectly identified an Ojai ceramist as Karen Bernscott; her name is Karen Scott. Her shop is called Bernscott Pottery.

Bell Gardens: An article in the Oct. 1 LATExtra section about the fatal shooting of Bell Gardens Mayor Daniel Crespo misspelled the first name of the mayor’s wife, Lyvette, as Levette. The error also appeared in an article Oct. 2 and a photo caption Oct. 8.
