Ferguson investigation: In the Oct. 23 Section A, an article about the information leaks coming out in connection with the grand jury investigation into the Aug. 9 shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., referred to Patricia Bynes as a Ferguson resident. Bynes is a committeewoman for the Ferguson township, a county-level political district that includes the city of Ferguson and parts of other cities, but she does not live in the city of Ferguson.

Louisiana election: In the Oct. 22 Section A, an article about the U.S. Senate race in Louisiana said that Sen. Mary L. Landrieu’s father is a former governor. He is a former mayor of New Orleans.
