Vintage synth: In the Jan. 22 Calendar section, an article about the return of the synthesizer, which several companies were expected to feature at the National Assn. of Music Merchants convention, misidentified the source of this quote: “I know that I could spend years with this thing and never run out of sounds.” It was L.A. musician M. Geddes Gengras who said it, not Brooklyn producer Max Ravitz.

City National Bank: In the Jan. 23 Section A, a photograph with an article about the sale of City National Bank that showed the Jacksons with bank Chief Executive Bram Goldsmith was identified as being from 1970. The photo was from an event in 1979.
