Kardashian fireworks: In the Oct. 3 California section, an article about Khloe Kardashian holding a fireworks show off Marina Del Rey said that the Los Angeles Fire Department issued a permit for the fireworks and that an LAFD captain monitored it. It was the Los Angeles County Fire Department that issued the permit, and one of its captains monitored the display.
Los Lobos: In the Oct. 3 Calendar section, an article about Los Lobos’ performance in East Los Angeles last week identified David Hidalgo as the singer of “Saint Behind the Glass.” It was sung by band member Louie Perez.
Big Ten: In the Oct. 4 Sports section, the college football conference report for the Big 10 said Michigan State had defeated Indiana, 24-21. Michigan State defeated Purdue.
Susumu Ito: In the Oct. 5 California section, the obituary of Susumu Ito, a Harvard University researcher who photographed World War II, misspelled the last name of actor George Takei as Takai.
Marilyn Hudson: In the Oct. 4 California section, the obituary of civic leader Marilyn Hudson misidentified her husband’s father, H. Claude Hudson, as T. Claude Hudson.
