Fracking in L.A.: In the Feb. 1 Calendar section, an article about environmental documentaries at the Sundance Film Festival said that fracking had been banned in Los Angeles after the 2010 release of the film “Gasland.” Hydraulic fracturing is legal in California, but state lawmakers approved stricter regulations on that oil extraction practice in 2013.

“Hamilton” tickets: An article in the Jan. 27 Calendar section about the musical “Hamilton” misidentified the San Francisco venue where it will play. It is the SHN Orpheum Theatre, not the SHN Golden Gate Theatre.

Cap-and-trade: In the Jan. 31 California section, an article about negotiations over how to spend more than $1 billion in funds collected from the auction of greenhouse gas pollution credits referred to the Natural Resources Defense Fund. The organization is the Natural Resources Defense Council.
