Cap-and-trade: In the Jan. 31 California section, an article about negotiations over how to spend more than $1 billion in funds collected from the auction of greenhouse gas pollution credits referred to the Natural Resources Defense Fund. The organization is the Natural Resources Defense Council.

USC athletic director: In the Feb. 6 Sports section, an article about Pat Haden’s retirement as USC athletic director said that Haden took over the job in 2010 after the previous athletic director had been fired in the wake of NCAA sanctions against the university’s football and men’s basketball programs. Haden’s predecessor was Mike Garrett. USC did not say that it fired Garrett.

Merger filing: In the Feb. 5 Business section, an article about merger talks between Lionsgate and Starz attributed a regulatory filing to Starz. Lionsgate made the filing.

“Rams” review: In the Feb. 5 Calendar section, an information box with a review of the film “Rams” said that that the movie is not rated. The Motion Picture Assn. of America rating is R, for language and brief graphic nudity.

“Tumbledown”: In the Feb. 5 Calendar section, an information box with a review of “Tumbledown” should have noted that the movie is playing at the Sundance Sunset in West Hollywood, not the Crest in Westwood.
