Apple-FBI dispute: An article in the March 4 California section about court briefs filed in the legal dispute over whether Apple can be ordered to help the FBI access a locked iPhone said several law enforcement unions had made a court filing in support of the government’s argument. The amicus brief was filed by the California State Sheriffs’ Assn., the California Police Chiefs’ Assn. and the California Peace Officers’ Assn., which are not unions.

Lakers timeline: In the Feb. 28 Sports section, a chart listing key dates in the Lakers’ recent history said Kobe Bryant fractured a bone in his knee in December 2014. It was December 2013. The chart also stated that All-Star LaMarcus Aldridge bypassed the Lakers to sign with San Antonio in July 2014; Aldridge signed with San Antonio in July 2015.
