Otis Redding: In the Oct. 30 Arts & Books section, an article about a new archival release of soul singer Otis Redding’s 1966 performances at the Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles said he was 27 when he died. Redding was 26.

All Souls’ Day: In the Oct. 31 Section A, the caption for the 1,000 Words photo from Navotas, Philippines, said that All Souls’ Day was Tuesday. All Souls’ Day is Wednesday; Tuesday was All Saints’ Day.

Right to vote: In the Oct. 30 Travel section, an article about the National Park Service and women’s role in U.S. history said that women could not vote in national elections until the 19th Amendment was ratified in 1920. Women could vote if their state had already granted them suffrage.

Geo Quiz: In the Oct. 9 Travel section, the Geo Quiz identified Tirol as the westernmost state in Austria. The westernmost Austrian state is Vorarlberg.
