Soldiers' Cemetery

Monday, May 12, 2008 -- Riverside, Ca.-- A California Army National Guard honor guard prepares to do a rifle salute during one of several interment services held at Riverside National Cemetery on Monday, May 12, 2008. The cemetery is the country's busiest national cemetery, averaging about 35 memorial services each day with over 180,000 people already buried there. The cemetery opened in 1978 on Veteran's Day.
