A shallow magnitude 3.3 earthquake was reported Saturday morning six miles from Hollister, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 8:35 a.m. PST at a depth of 5 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 16 miles from Prunedale, Calif., 17 miles from Salinas and 125 miles from Sacramento.
In the last 10 days, there have been two earthquakes magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
