Earthquake: 3.5 quake strikes near The Geysers

A shallow magnitude 3.5 earthquake was reported Thursday morning one mile from The Geysers, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 2:57 a.m. PST at a depth of 1.2 miles.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was 13 miles from Healdsburg, 16 miles from Windsor and 70 miles from Sacramento.

In the past 10 days, there has been one earthquake magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
