Decomposed bodies found in Santa Clarita home; no foul play suspected
The decomposed bodies of a man and a woman were found in their Santa Clarita home Thursday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Homicide detectives found the bodies in the 19000 block of Pleasantdale Street about 6 p.m. Thursday after a caller said the residents had not been seen in several weeks and that a strong odor could be smelled outside the home, sheriff’s Deputy Trina Schrader said in a news release.

When deputies arrived, they found the bodies in advanced stages of decomposition inside the home, Schrader said.
The identities of the two have not been released by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office. The cause of death has not been determined.
Detectives are investigating how and when the two people died. No foul play is suspected, according to the sheriff’s department.
