A shallow magnitude 3.0 earthquake was reported Tuesday afternoon 13 miles from Kettleman City, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 5:58 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 5.0 miles.
In the last 10 days, there have been two earthquakes magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
