A shallow magnitude 3.3 earthquake was reported Sunday afternoon 21 miles from Inyokern, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 5:56 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 6.2 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 27 miles from Ridgecrest, Calif.
In the last 10 days, there has been one earthquake magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
